Firm Capabilities
J.J. Wuellner & Son, Inc. was founded in 1902 by Joseph J. Wuellner and his
son John C. Wuellner. Over the 100 plus years of continuous operation, the
company has been involved in all types of construction including: Industrial, Institutional,
and Commercial building. The firm has performed work in both Illinois and
Missouri, but we currently concentrate on the Metro-Alton/Madison County and Southern
Illinois geographic regions.
Mr. August (Augie) Wuellner, President, has been with the firm for over 25 years.
He is the great, great grandson of the company's founder, J.J. Wuellner. Augie
holds constant the firm's philosophy of providing a quality product while utilizing
honest business practices. The firm's reputation has allowed the establishment
of relationships that allow us to negotiate work with repeat clients. These
negotiated projects almost always require design-build techniques to be utilized
to meet the owner's need and timely schedules.
J.J. Wuellner Construction, over the years, has maintained the values and expectations
of quality established by the founders. We combine the many years of experience
with a shrewd attention to detail to provide our clients with the project management
and project control services required to provide successful construction projects.
